This contemporary Chardonnay is grown on Thomas Block in McLaren Vale, which is named after Andy Thomas, the famous South Australian astronaut who's grand-parents first grew grapes on this site. THE WILD Chardonnay is pure expression of the perfect conditions of Thomas Block, its deep alluvial soils, cool ocean breezes and David Paxton's biodynamic practices.

50% wild yeast ferments enhance complexity of this fresh, textured, balanced and mouth-filling jewel with a funky sweetness on the palate

 

Tasting Notes:

Complex citrus and stone fruit with aromas of cashews. Mouth-filling, complex stone-fruit with a balanced, even mid-palate and a creamy flavoursome back-palate with fabulous length (Michael: ".. at least 100 m")
